VA Pension

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs offers tax free money to help veterans or a surviving spouse pay for their long-term care medical expenses. Often referred to as “Aid and Attendance,” this program is surprisingly unknown by most veteran families. If it is known, often veterans receive bad advice or are told they are not eligible prematurely. If you try applying for this benefit on your own or with the “help” of non-VA accredited persons, this often results in a denial.  While these “helpers” can assist in filling out forms, they cannot give you legal advice on how the VA rules apply to your specific situation and adjust your application.

Our attorneys at Pinnacle Legacy Law are VA-accredited attorneys, meaning we have been specially licensed by the VA to provide guidance to get the benefits you are entitled and so deserve.

What Does the Benefit Mean to You?

With the benefit, you’re able to afford the care you need.

This benefit is completely tax free!

Like Social Security, this pension is dependable and is paid directly to you by the Department of the Treasury.

Common Concerns About the Pension

Your current disabilities do not have to be service connected.

This benefit really helped. I couldn’t have paid for my house without it. This is something that all Veterans need to know about. Veterans have earned this money.
